Help raise awareness of deadly Preeclampsia – walk at Santana Row, Saturday May 3rd. Advocates for the Preeclampsia Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing maternal and infant illness and death due to preeclampsia, a life-threatening disorder of pregnancy, will be participating in and raising money for the Foundation’s annual The Promise Walk for Preeclampsia™. The annual event to support innovative research and raise public awareness about the warning signs of preeclampsia, will be taking place in San Jose at Santana Row Park on Saturday, May 3rd at 9:00am.

Museum of American Heritage
You’ll want to race over to this event! The Museum of American Heritage (MOAH) proudly presents the 10th Annual Vintage Vehicles and Family Festival (VVFF) May 3rd from 9:30am until 2:00 pm. Located at the Museum of American Heritage, 351 Homer Avenue in Downtown Palo Alto. This free annual community event is being hosted in collaboration with the City of Palo Alto’s 92nd May Fete Parade & Festival. Over 50 rare vintage vehicles will be on display to enjoy. In addition, the museum grounds will come alive with hands-on science demonstrations, Meccano models, and other family-friendly activities. Martin Luther King Junior Association of Santa Clara Valley
Help the Martin Luther King Junior Association of Santa Clara Valley help those less fortunate in our community at their Movers of Mountains and Scholarship Awards event, Saturday May 31 at the Flames Eatery on 4th street in downtown San Jose. The rise in homicides has created a need to replenish their burial fund for families who lost a loved one to homicide. Funds are also needed for their youth art/essay writing contest at MACSA.
