Avicii aka Tim Bergling’s family have decided to launch a foundation in the DJ’s memory.
Avicii passed away last year at the age of 28 of an apparent suicide. You may remember his hits such as “Levels” and “Wake Me Up” which helped him get into the mainstream scene.
The Tim Bergling Foundation (named after Avicii himself) will raise awareness to different things including mental health, suicide prevention, climate change, nature conversation, endangered species and more.
His family released a statement saying:
“Tim wanted to make a difference. Starting a foundation in his name is our way to honor his memory and continue to act in his spirit.”
If you have any memories and stories about Avicii you can share the love here.
