CDC Shares Tips for Safe Voting Practices On Election Day

If you haven’t voted already and plan to vote in person on Election Day, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have some tips for you on how to stay safe.

They advise to: wear a mask, stay six feet away from others and use hand sanitizer frequently. They also suggest you bring your own black ballpoint pens so you don’t need to worry about getting infected from using a contaminated one.

The CDC also suggests to have all voting materials ready to go and also try to go ahead and visit a polling place during a non-peak time, like mid-morning.
