Chris Martin Credits ‘Back to the Future’ for Coldplay’s Existence

Chris Martin of Coldplay recently revealed on the Kelly Clarkson show that Coldplay may never had existed if not for the movie Back To The Future!  Watching the film as a kid really inspired him to be in a band, particularly the scene where Michael J. Fox sings the Chuck Berry song “Johnny Be Goode”.  Chris said something clicked, and he knew he wanted to be part of that kind of scene.

Also, Chris was overjoyed when Michael J. Fox joined Coldplay on stage at the MetLife stadium in New York in 2016.  Michael played guitar as they performed songs from the movie together!
