The annual Christmas in the Park tradition is returning, in full force, this year to downtown San Jose! You can walk through Plaza de Cesar Chavez to see the exhibits, lights and trees, get your Snowman hot chocolate, and go for a skate at Downtown Ice! The official Tree Lighting ceremony happens on November 26th (the day after Thanksgiving) at 5:30 at the park. You can go for a skate a Kristi Yamaguchi Downtown Ice too, that opens November 19th and tickets are here.
New this year, the first annual Gingerbread Build Off! It’s a special evening of food, cocktails and gingerbread houses – all to benefit pediatric cancer research. There’ll be appetizers, beer and wine, and lots of local bakeries and chefs showing off their gingerbread masterpieces. Advance tickets are available for Wednesday December 8th in San Pedro Square Market.
For the kids, the Blinky’s Magical Musical Drive Thru Experience will be at Lake Cunningham Park in San Jose with a new feature this year starring Blinky the Reindeer, and over 200,000 lights! It starts on November 26th and tickets are online.
It’s going to be a much merrier Christmas now that things are mostly back to normal. We’ve missed that hot chocolate! ⛄
Christmas in the Park is a MUST!! 🎄🦌🎶🛷
