Back in April, organizers had to postpone the 2020 Coachella festival to October.

But it looks like the festival has officially been cancelled this year.

According to a report from Billboard, AEG decided to cancel the festival this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic and laid off about 15 percent of its staff.

The big names on this year’s lineup included Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against The Machine.

It still remains unclear if the festival will be rescheduled next year with the same lineup.

Many other festivals have also cancelled shows this year including Stagecoach & Lollapalooza.

No news yet on whether or not Outside Lands will still be happening, but festival organizers have mentioned that with each passing day, it’s unlikely going to happen this year.

On a brighter note, at least you’ll be able to get a refund on some of these cancelled events.

Do you think concerts and music festivals will ever be the same after this pandemic is over?
