Ed Sheeran’s wife, Cherry Seaborn, said Ed wrote seven songs in four hours after learning of her cancer diagnosis.

The 32-year-old hitmaker revealed last month that his wife was diagnosed with a tumor during her second pregnancy.

The tumor couldn’t be treated until after the child’s birth. Ed and Cherry kept the pregnancy secret and their fear and anxiety due to the tumor diagnosis.

In a new Disney+ special, the couple reveals all, with Cherry revealing that after they received the diagnosis, Ed wrote seven songs in four hours. “The Sum Of It All” airs on Disney+ on May 3rd.
