Halsey is getting ready to release her fourth album, and she’s revealed the album artwork in this gorgeous video.  Looking like an expectant goddess, she walks through the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, focusing on mother-child artwork.  Eventually the album artwork is revealed in a painting of Halsey and a newborn baby.

“This album is a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth. It was very important to me that the cover art conveyed the sentiment of my journey over the past few months… The cover image celebrates pregnant and postpartum bodies as something beautiful, to be admired.  We have a long way to go with eradicating the social stigma around bodies and breastfeeding.  I hope this can be a step in the right direction”

The new album will be called “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power” and it’s powered by the production expertise of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (Nine in Nails.)  Be ready when it arrives on August 27th!
