You weren’t really missing much.

According to SFGate, the band’s free concert didn’t make anyone a “Believer.”
Touted as a “free” show, tickets were extremely limited.
They were all swiped within an hour of being available.
To make matters even more unnecessarily confusing…
The “Halftime Show” wasn’t going to take place at Levi’s Stadium…
You know, where the College Football National Championships were held.
No, it was on Treasure Island.
Which is nearly 50 miles away.
So Imagine Dragons is performing a halftime show on press box TV, but Clemson marching band doing on a halftime show on the field in front of me….whoa…am I covering the right game?

ESPN did stream the full concert online…
Though most of the clips have been purged by now.
And it’s probably better this way.
It wasn’t one of Dan Reynolds’ best performances.
The internet was quick to notice:
Saban is foregoing any halftime adjustments and instead is making #Bama watch #ImagineDragons as punishment for that first half of football. #NationalChampionship #ClemsonvsAlabama

I wonder how much Imagine Dragons is getting paid for this CFP halftime performance… #amateurs

“What is happening?” – All of us watching Tua throw picks in the first half
“WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!?!?!” – All of us watching the Imagine Dragons and Lil Wayne halftime concert.

Yeeeeesh.
That’s rough.
At least the show was only about 10 minutes long.
Hopefully they make it up to fans at Bottlerock.
