Katy Perry facing backlash for “racist” shoe line
Katy Perry wasn’t a winner during the Grammy Awards.
For one, she didn’t win any awards.
Second, there was that bizarre tribute to Dolly Parton.
But it looks like she’s also in hot water over her fashion line.

According to Newsweek, Katy Perry is in trouble due to concerns… her fashion design may be racist!?
Yeah, take a look at these shoes:

It kind of looks like… pretty awful.
Whether it was the intention or not, they definitely look like a really bad “black face” impersonation.
The two offending styles, dubbed “Ora Face Block Heel Sandals” and “Rue Face Slip of Loafer” have been pulled from store shelves all over the country.
Aside from the possible racist connotations…
Those shoes are just plain silly.
Who the heck is going to walk around in those things?!
Like, I don’t even think Katy Perry would be caught dead wearing those in public.
