Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Amazon Prime Friday!

One way to beat the heat this weekend – will be to watch Lord of the Rings on Amazon Prime, in the coolest room of your home! Amazon Prime has created the most expensive series in history, with the tab for The Rings of Power being $715 million.

The story brings characters from the fabled Second Age of Middle-Earth’s history to the screen, set thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and the history is rich. You’ll see familiar and new characters confronting evil from the depths of the Misty Mountains to the Elf capital, Lindon, and the island of Numenor.

The landscapes, costumes and script appear to pass the critic-test, but they’re saying we’ll want for more! Variety said The Rings of Power is, “sweeping and gutsy, makes the most of it’s ample lore.” It premiers on Amazon Prime Friday!
