Minions: The Rise of Gru is Here for the Holiday Weekend

The Minions are taking over the movie theaters this weekend… along with minions of Minions fans! The Rise of Gru is a new adventure for 12-year-ole Gru (Steve Carell) set in 1970’s suburbia, when he was plotting to take over the world in his basement.

The cast is HUGE, and mostly new. Taraji P. Henson is Belle Bottom, Jean-Claude Van Damme is Jean Clawed, Lucy Lawless is Nunchuck, Dolph Lundren is Svengeance, and Russell Brand stars as Young Dr. Nefario, as well as Julie Andrews as Gru’s self-absorbed mom.

Looks like a fun ride!
