The New England Patriots picked up their sixth championship title after defeating the Los Angeles Rams, 13-3, in Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta Georgia. The low-scoring contest was ultimately a defensive battle, with the first and only touchdown of the game coming in the fourth quarter. Brazilian super model Gisele Bündchen’s future Hall of Fame hubby Tom Brady helped the Patriots tie the league with the most Super Bowl championships in NFL history with six.
Mix 106 jock Keiana Martin was in attendance of the big game. Here’s a recap of the thrilling week leading up to Super Bowl LIII.
The week kicked off with Opening Night festivities at State Farm Arena where Super Bowl players and coaches held live press conferences in front of both national media and fans. Super Bowl Opening Night was the first interaction that Super Bowl players and coaches from both teams have with media before the big game. Patriots star tight end even showed off his dance moves on stage.

I had the pleasure of emceeing the Super Bowl Experience, an interactive theme park celebrating Super Bowl LIII. Football fans in attendance were able to participate in exhibits and interactive games, take photos with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, meet and greet current and former NFL superstars and much, much more.

Game day at Mercedes-Benz stadium was magical. The 1.6 billion dollar stadium that opened its doors in August of 2017 awed spectators with its multi-purpose retractable roof, 63,000-square feet of 360-degree HD halo display of live action and wonderment of pyrotechnics only added to the electric Atlanta atmosphere.

Overall, it was an exciting week to culminate the 2018-19 NFL season. Each year the NFL gets bigger and better. Next year, Super Bowl LIV will take place in Miami, Fla. Who would you like to see perform during next year’s big game?
