California DMV field offices that were closed during the pandemic will be reopening this Thursday, June 11th.
A few offices have already reopened to help offer service to customers.
Those hoping to take a behind-the-wheel driver test will have to wait a bit longer, since they will not be offered yet.
The DMV is currently in the process of rescheduling appointments that took place during the closure. Once those appointments are re-booked, you’ll be able to book a new appointment.
Just like many other places reopening, the DMV will have new guidelines for employees and customers.
The offices will be providing face coverings for employees, face shields, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. Physical distancing will also be implemented.
Before you make a trip, have your face mask ready and stay six feet apart from others while in line. This will be required before you enter a DMV.
