San Jose Passes Barack Obama Boulevard Proposal But You Won’t See It On Maps Until Summer

San Jose now has a city street named after Barack Obama!

Community advocate Alex Shoor, has worked on the plan of renaming the street after the 44th President for the past 3 years. Along with many others, plenty of signatures were gained and money was raised to fund the effort.

The all new renamed Barack Obama Boulevard will be a part of Bird Avenue, South Montgomery Street, South Autumn Street and North Autumn Street.

Many other cities like Milpitas and Los Angeles also have streets named after Obama.

The name change is set to be on the maps sometime this summer.
