Selena Gomez is shooting down speculation that her new song, “Single Soon,” is about her ex, The Weeknd.

The song is about how to break up with someone. Selena commented on an article by Hollywood Life that suggested the song was about The Weeknd, as fans had suggested.

“Couldn’t be more false,” Gomez wrote. The song, which was recently released, is one Selena says she wrote a while back. She released the song ahead of her anticipated album, “SG3.”
