Someone Set A New Guinness World Record For The Largest Overdue Library Book Fine

If you want a chance to beat this world record, you’re going to have to live for a LONG TIME.
Emily Canellos-Sims, a woman from Illinois is the new Guinness world record holder for the largest overdue library book fine!
Her mother checked out the poetry book, “Days and Deeds” back in April of 1955.
She recently returned the book and the total fine she paid was $345.15.
Even though this was the largest fine paid, some books took LONGER to be returned.
