Taylor Swift To Be Named Honorary Mayor Of ‘Swiftie Clara’ For ‘Eras Tour’
Santa Clara has declared Taylor Swift mayor and renamed itself “Swiftie Clara” for her concert at Levi’s Stadium.
The Santa Clara City Council made Taylor Swift ceremonial mayor of “Swiftie Clara” on July 28-29 for the Eras Tour weekend.

Mayor Lisa Gillmor expressed her excitement that Taylor Swift chose Santa Clara as a tour stop for the third time. She said the city welcomes Swift’s fans and celebrates their positive impact.
“In honor of this incredible talent about to grace the stage at Levi’s Stadium, we are renaming our name for two unforgettable days,” Gillmor said in a video message.
Like other cities on Swift’s tour, Santa Clara warmly welcomes her. For example, Glendale changed its name to “Swift City,” and Tampa offered her a job as mayor for the day.
