Taylor Swift’s Previous Label Is Now Allowing Her To Perform Old Hits At The AMAs

Just a couple of days ago, Taylor Swift shared with the world that her previous record label, Big Machine Records alongside Scooter Braun (who purchased her previous music catalog) would not let her perform her old songs during the American Music Awards, but looks like things have changed. The Big Machine Label Group and Dick Clark productions have released a statement allowing Taylor to perform her older hits on the awards show,

“The Big Machine Label Group and Dick Clark Productions announced that they have come to terms on a licensing agreement that approves their artists’ performances to stream post-show and for re-broadcast on mutually approved platforms, including the American Music Awards performance.”

Dick Clark responded to the statement denying that an agreement between them and BGLM exists…

We’re glad Taylor gets to perform her old music during the American Music Awards. She’s also planning on re-recording her music next year.
