The Notebook is one of the best romantic movies of all time.

It’s a classic adaptation of the Nicolas Sparks novel.

You might want to get those tissues ready…

Because The Notebook is coming back!

According to Variety, the film is being adapted for Broadway.

Even better, the incredible Ingrid Michaelson will be writing the music.

Bekah Brunsetter (This is Us) will be writing the novelization of the show…

With Kevin McCollum (Avenue Q, Rent, In the Heights)…

Kurt Deutsch (founder of Sh-K-Boom and Ghostlight Records)…

And Nicholas Sparks producing.

So you know it’s going to be a faithful adaptation.

Unfortunately, that’s about all we know.

Details are sparse on the cast…

And even more sparse on the rest of the production.

And there’s no word on when you’re going to be seeing it premiere.

Might be time to plan a trip to New York!
