Looking for a half sheet cake at Costco? You won’t be able to find them in stores anymore…

The retailer recently put a stop to selling its popular half sheet cakes.

Why did they stop selling the cakes? A Costco representative explains,

“To help limit personal contact and create more space for social distancing, Costco has reduced service in some departments. At this time, we are not making sheet cakes for special order. Thank you for understanding.”

This doesn’t mean Costco will stop selling cakes forever, they recently revealed that they have 10 inch round cakes available for purchase.

One person who claims to be a Costco employee said that removing the half sheet cake will only be temporary.

Let’s hope that the retailer brings the half sheet cakes back. They were so delicious! We also didn’t mind having so much cake leftover either!
