The Weeknd Stars in a New HBO Series "The Idol" - And It's Not What You Think (New Trailer)

The Weeknd is on his After Hours Tour and surprised the audience at Met Life Stadium this past weekend with a teaser video for his upcoming HBO series, The Idol. And it looks crazy!

Together with Sam Levinson (the warped mind behind Euphoria,) Abel (The Weeknd) Tesfaye, and Reza Fahim have created this wild series about a pop star/guru of a cult (The Weeknd) who gets into a sleazy love affair with a rising pop star (Lily-Rose Depp.)

We can look forward to this on HBO, there’s just no release date yet.
