This Nutritionist Says That Having Pizza For Breakfast Is Better Than Eating Cereal

Pretty much everyone has had leftover pizza for breakfast at some point in their life.

Turns out having that slice of pizza to start off your day is a bit better than eating cereal for breakfast.

Nutritionist Chelsey Amer mentioned that,

“You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories. A slice of pizza contains more fat and much less sugar than most cold cereals, so you will not experience a quick sugar crash.”

Chelsey also talked about how pizza is much more packed with protein and will keep you satisfied and filled throughout your morning. Cereals would make you a bit more tired because of all the sugar in them.

So go ahead and eat that pizza from last night, it’s a bit healthier than trying to eat that sugary bowl of cereal you have hiding in the pantry.
