5 Seconds of Summer just released a new song and video for “Easier” – a new track that was inspired by the Nine Inch Nails song “Closer”! The band told Rolling Stone, “There is a darker tone to this record intentionally.” They said they were inspired by dark, industrial-rhythm bands from the 80’s like NIN, Depeche Mode, and Tears for Fears. The video definitely reflects this!
