Ed Sheeran learned an American trick for drinking beer.

Luke Combs taught Ed Sheeran how to “shotgun” a beer in a video posted on Sheeran’s Instagram.

Both singers hold a can of Miller Light in the clip. Combs teaches Sheeran how to shotgun a beer: hold the can vertically, open it with one hand, and chug.

Luke and Ed collaborated on a song for Sheeran’s album “Subtract,” released on May 5. “Life Goes On” adds country vibes to Sheeran’s sixth album.
