Macy’s usually fly giant balloons during their annual Thanksgiving Day Parade, but looks like there might be some changes this year, there’s a chance you won’t be seeing any of the balloons during the parade.

Why? The balloons might not fly during Thanksgiving Day due to wind which may reach up to 23 mph and gusts up to 34 mph.

During the parade, there are usually 16 huge balloons of iconic animated characters, but forecasters are predicting you might not see them this year.

A rule for balloon flight started in 1997, after four people were injured by a Cat in the Hat balloon.

Would you still watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade even if the giant balloons aren’t there?
